An installation piece incorporating sound, warmth and layers of fabric to represent rebirth from a giant womb

This piece was just over 1m square at the bottom and around 2m tall. To get inside you had to pull apart strips of material and climb in. Once inside the floor was made of pillows and a duvet dyed pink using avocado pits. A heated blanket kept the space warm, and covered lights ran around the inside. Affirmations hung around the walls, as did a giant macrame wall hanging. A small speaker played the sound of a heartbeat as heard from inside a body.

This installation was exhibited in December 2019 in the Studio Space, Treforest Campus, University of South Wales.
