WOMEN'S AID - SELF CARE AND CRAFTS

Exploring self care and empowerment through the arts

I run sessions with Women's Aid RCT, usually as a complementary offering alongside one of the group programmes run by the charity - although there have been standalone workshops when participants have needed them.

The sessions aim to help participants make sense of their experiences through a series of tailored art activities exploring safety, empowerment, connection and a sense of self.

Previously, work created in this group has been shown at the Empower Me! exhibition at the g39 gallery in Cardiff.
